1. Nama No Border adalah ide dari Toma.
2. Ia adalah penggemar berat Backstreet Boys. Bahkan ia pernah memohon kepada staf Music Station agar dapat melihat Backstreet Boys secara langsung di studio, salah satu alasan utamanya masuk ke Johnny’s adalah untuk menjadi seperti Backstreet Boys.
3. Tipe wanita idealnya adalah yang berambut panjang, memiliki senyum yang menawan dan dewasa seperti Matsu Takako sedangkan dia tidak menyukai wanita yang berpenampilan dan bertingkah laku seperti GAL.
4. Kencan ideal idamannya ialah mengemudi di malam hari ke atas bukit bersama dengan kekasihnya dan melihat pemandangan kota dari atas sana.
5. Ia menggunakan “Okaa-chan” untuk memanggil ibunya saat ia kecil, namun setelah ia diledek oleh anggota M.A.I.N ia mulai memanggil ibunya “Okaa-san”
6. Toma juga mengidolakan X-Japan, terutama gitarisnya Hideto Matsumoto. Ia bahkan pernah satu jam berbicara dengan Subaru Shibutani (Kanjani8) hanya untuk membicarakan X-Japan. Ia dan adiknya Ryuusei adalah penggemar GLAY dan mereka selalu menghadiri setiap konser GLAY saat waktu senggang.

10. Ia dan Oguri memberi nama panggilan Horikittie untuk Maki Horikita yang berakting bersama di Hanakimi, sedangkan Inoue Mao yang pernah berakting bersamanya di Hana Yori Dango 2 memberi Toma nama panggilan “Tooman” sama seperti yang diberikannya pada Oguri Shun “Shuuman”
11. Ia dan Eiji Wentz (WaT) pernah membuat band bersama saat kecil, namun saat mereka ditawari masuk Johnny’s, hanya Toma yang menerima.

• He will wear a hat when going to school. The reason is because he usually has to dash his way out to school as he has over slept, and Toma is still taking trains to his workplace from his home in [[Kanagawa]] prefecture.
• He likes to wear jeans a lot. He feels that jeans are a sporting fashion. He wears jeans when the weather is hot and even when it is winter. That is why many times, the question "Aren't you cold?" is always directed to him.
• Toma is a very sensitive person, and he cried during a movie "I am Sam".
• Toma is known to be a big eater just like his best friend, [[Yamashita Tomohisa]].
• Toma named his dog "JAM" after an ichigo jam (strawberry jam) and sometimes sleeps with him.
